Dev Blog October 2025 P2

Hello,
New post for some updates!

I’ve migrated the sites to a server plan offering more resources and flexibility. It’s still fairly modest, with just an extra €1 per month, but many features have been doubled: a few more cores, more RAM, allowing me to double the memory allocated to the site’s environment and databases.
There are also no longer strict limits on monthly bandwidth.
This plan includes a premium SMTP service, so hopefully, fewer emails will end up in spam folders when I post.
The .xyz domain remains a bit of a drawback, but oh well…

Well, apparently it was all blocked by the antispam of the hosting, contacted them, and after 3 days turning in circle and doing useless things, they solved nothing…
So now I changed to have evodig to send the mails, you should get the mails now.

I’ve also stopped using Google Drive. The subscriptions are still active for a few weeks, but I’ve switched to another plan that gives me an extra 100 GB of storage.
This will be used to store games and high-quality videos for supporters.
I still have some time to replace all the embedded videos on the site and forum.
These videos will be slightly compressed to reduce their size, and for that, I’ll use Mega or even Google Drive’s free plan. They’ll be used for streaming, posts, and the
devboard for supporters, with links to the high-quality versions.

As mentioned before, I’ll do my best to increase traffic to the site. I’ll be posting more frequently now. Previously, I only posted a few times a year, partly to avoid being flagged as “spam.”
Now, I plan to post multiple times a month, or at least once a month.
Spending time on social media platforms filled with bots content doesn’t make sense anymore.
I’d rather post directly on my blog and share those links on social media.
Let’s be clear: I don’t work for these platforms, I don’t earn anything from them, and driving traffic to them isn’t my goal.
I’d rather direct traffic to my own projects.
I still have some tweaks to make on the sites…

I’ve updated Fuutube and increased its available resources, which should make it more responsive.
I’ve also started working on EvodigNews, a parody site in the same vein as Fuutube and Evodig.
While
Evodig serves as the hub for the “companies” and activities in the lore, and Fuutube focuses on the characters, EvodigNews will be dedicated to the universe’s lore.
I’ve already written extensively for the Lula Saga lore, totaling over 800 pages over time.
I could have turned it into a book or integrated a codex into the game, but I find it more fun to present the lore as articles.
This approach is more enjoyable to create and more engaging for users who want to learn about the universe in a modern way.
By breaking it down into short, one- or two-minute articles with small illustrations, it becomes more appealing.

On another note, as mentioned in my previous post, I’m still planning updates for the UE5 versions before the end of the year. Some tasks are shared across the three projects, so once completed for one, they can be adapted to the others with minor adjustments based on their specific needs.

I’m also preparing new animations, as I know they drive the most traffic.
I tried a poll on Discord, but very few people voted, and even with the low turnout, no clear majority emerged.
That’s why I rarely do polls—they tend to divide rather than decide.
That said, I slipped a little troll into the poll options, and those kinds of things can sometimes spark new ideas (lol).
So, expect something for
Chiks’n Eggs in the desert first.
While it will tie into gameplay elements, it’ll also serve as a new teaser, which I hope will be more enticing than the first one where Lola was dancing in front of the
Chiks’n Eggs Factory.
I can’t say exactly when it’ll be ready, but I’m aiming for about a good week from now.

In any case, I hope you’ll receive this email and the upcoming ones, as posts will become more frequent.

See you soon!
And thanks for your attention and support!
